Rainforest Cafe, Galveston

We thought it would be a nice treat for the kids to end our trip to Galveston with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Tye thoroughly enjoyed it, Ady slept through half of it, and Avery was a little nervous with the animals and "thunder storm." At one point, Tye told the gorillas to, "STOP, monkeys, STOP. Kids eating, monkeys, STOP!!" He was not afraid, but apparently he knew that it may disturb other kids trying to enjoy their dinner!
Tye, Mary, Avery, Alisa, Ady, and Samantha.
This was our dessert...the famous Rainforest Cafe "volcano." It doesn't look as big in the picture as it was. The waiter was shocked when he came back and saw it look like the picture below. He said he just knew with 3 women, and 3 kids that there was no way we would put a dent in it...well, we proved him wrong! (And for mine and Mary's dignity, we will say that Tye and Avery ate it!)

I'm glad that y'all had so much fun in Galveston together! I bet it was really cute hearing Tye tell those animals to be quiet! We got the "volcano" once too and Natalie sure did eat a lot of it all by herself! ;) LOL

My kids love going to the Rainforest Cafe store, but we've never actually taken them there to eat. I think we may need to check out that dessert, Jacob and Luke are really into volcanos right now.
